About Us

Hello....

We are Helena and Renee, two first time mums, who live in the gorgeous Gold Coast hinterland. We have only known each other less than twelve months, but have already formed a wonderful friendship. We share a lot of the same interests and aspirations and have spoken about putting a blog together for some time.

We wanted our blog to be a place of beautiful images and inspiring thoughts and we even threw in some music to add to the chilled out vibe that we want it to present to you! 

We both have a desire to be involved in something that will make a difference in the lives of others. We're not going for world peace, however we would be proud to be involved in something that has a positive effect on others, whilst also taking care of our two small children. 

What we want to do and where we want to start, well we still aren't sure just yet, but we do have some inspiring ideas in the pipeline. In the meantime we invite you to come on our journey as we share with you some pretty cool stuff that puts a smile on our faces, as well as our quest to bring a little happiness and joy into the lives of others.

The name Little Paper Crane.... 

When the time came to think of a name that would best represent our blog, the first symbol that came to mind was the Japanese paper crane. The Japanese crane symbolises happiness, peace and overall wellness. Along with that, the fact that our meeting and now friendship came as a result of the birth of our 'little' ones, the name Little Paper Crane was formed.
